Fruit for this cuvee is selected from top quality plots in Sonoma's Russian River Valley, and Napa's Carmeros and Monterey County sub-regions where conditions are ideal for growing elegant and refined Chardonnay. Once in the winery the grapes are carefully sorted and vinified with the young wine ageing in French oak barrels for 8 months before bottling. This helps to add a rich, creamy texture and seductive hints of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak to the intense tropical and stone fruit notes from the Chardonnay grapes. A great wine to share with family and friends alongside a big platter of cheeses, leafy summer salads, or roast chicken.
