To paint floorboards with eco-friendly paint, start by thoroughly cleaning the floorboards to remove any dirt, dust, and debris. Then, sand the floorboards to create a smooth surface for the paint to adhere to. Next, apply a primer specifically designed for use with eco-friendly paint. Once the primer is dry, apply the eco-friendly paint in thin, even coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next. Finally, finish with a non-toxic, eco-friendly sealant to protect the paint and the floorboards. **
